Favorite Fall Reads

Everything is better in the Fall, it’s my favorite time of year! The clothes are better; hoodies, beanies and jeans, YAY! How gorgeous the trees look as their leaves are changing color. The food is better; no more salads, I’m all about soups and stews when it gets cool outside. My cat getting her winter coat (she becomes just a giant fluff ball!) Hot tea and coffee. And of course pumpkin spice EVERYTHING! But my favorite thing about Fall? Curling up in a blanket on my little patio and reading a good book!

My favorite kind of book to read in the Fall is true-crime novels…my husband says it’s twisted to read something so dark during the “holiday” season. I say it’s the perfect time! I get plenty of happiness from friends and family during the holiday months to counter any affects the stories have on my mood. Plus, they give a good fright just in time for Halloween!!!

I decided to write this after seeing this post over on Beth Revis’ site, here.. There is also a giveaway going on on her site (same link) so check it out!!!

About MissPhyre

Hi! You can call me MissPhyre. I'm a Nanny by day and a reader by......well, always. I just recently got married and moved to a tiny apartment that barely holds all of my books. But that doesn't stop me from buying more! If I'm not working or reading (sometimes both) I can be found in my pillow fort binge watching Bones or Doctor Who. Popcorn is my one true junk food weakness...I would eat nothing but popcorn and mashed potatoes if I could get away with it!
